Terms of Service

Welcome to StartupCounsel. These Terms of Service govern the access to and use of legal support services, information products, and goods provided at startupcounsel.pro.

1. Scope of Services

At StartupCounsel, we offer:

• Legal Support Services for new enterprises and early-stage ventures.
• Information Products including guides, templates, and digital resources.
• Goods such as printed materials and branded items.

2. Service Fees and Payment

All fees are due upon scheduling or at the time of purchase. We accept major credit options and designated methods as indicated at checkout.

Failure to settle fees may result in suspension of access.

3. Refund Policy

We understand that circumstances may change. Please review the policy below based on the category of your purchase.

3.1 Legal Support Services

If you need to reschedule a session, notify us at least 48 hours in advance via Contact Form. Sessions may be moved once without additional fee. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, a portion of the fee may not be refundable. In rare cases where service is deemed ineligible for refund due to preparatory work, no refund will be issued. Approved refunds will be processed back to the original method of settlement within 10 business days.

3.2 Information Products

Due to the immediate access of digital content, information products are non-refundable once access has been granted. Please review the product details carefully before purchase.

3.3 Goods

Physical items may be eligible for a refund if sent back within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original condition. Customers are responsible for shipping fees when sending items back. Approved refunds will be processed within 15 business days after we receive the sent back item.

4. Modifications to Services

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any offering at any time. We will notify clients of significant changes via the email address on file.

5. Intellectual Property

All materials provided remain the property of StartupCounsel. Unauthorized use or distribution is prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

StartupCounsel provides services and resources on an as-is basis. We disclaim all indirect risks and cap any direct liability to the fees paid in the prior three months.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal statutes of Canada.
